December 7th 8:44 a.m. The buzz of Brian's phone was one noise that was abnormally loud. In fact, it wasn't only a buzz; it was a ringtone that could wake the dead.  It woke both Brian and Michelle, who seemed so peaceful in each other's arms. Brian shot up almost at the speed of light. His phone was left on the dresser across the room which, during the morning, seemed like thirty miles and forty when he was extremely tired. Regardless, Brian reluctantly got out of bed to get it.  December 6th The clock ticked slowly; it seemed to be the only noise aside from Michelle's steady breath. It had been hours since they last spoke over the phone. She would have told him then, but this was the last destination of their tour. Usually by now they were done though...it was weird he hadn't called; he always did. The stressed feeling melted away when her phone ringer went off; it was Val.. "Hello?" Michelle answered quietly feeling her heart hurting again. "Hey Chelle! Did I wake you?" Val answered back. Michelle looked up at the clock on the wall. It was only 10:21 in the morning. How long had it been since Brian last called?
